1960s Mexicana Reverse Painted Wall Art and Sconce
Vintage reverse painted lamp wall hanging shadow box depicting a Mexicana or southwest theme. The frame is a beautiful green. The frame and painted glass art are mounted to a light box in the back with a turn switch that casts light from the bottom and/or top of the piece. The light also illuminates the interior of the art, making the painted figures almost glow at night. Likely made in the 1950s or 1960s. The piece has a chain in the back making it very to hanging and display.
Dimensions: The item measures approximately 16.5” tall by 14.5” wide by 3.75” deep. The chord measures just over 6’.
Condition Notes: The piece is in great vintage condition. No cracks or scratches in the glass and the frame is solid. Both the top and bottom light fixtures are in working order and the plug/wiring appear to original - also in good working condition.
